IPAC call on PDP to constitute caretaker c’ttee in Katsina
Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, an umbrella housing all political parties in Katsina State has called on the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to urgently constitute a caretaker committee to run the affairs of the party at all levels in Katsina State.
This according to the Chairman of the council, Alhaji Ibrahim Tukur Saude is because of a judgment by state High Court in Katsina sacking the leadership of the party recently.
During a press conference on Monday, Alhaji Ibrahim Tukur Saude also warned the PDP chairman, Alhaji Salisu Majigiri not to meddle in the affairs of the party, describing him as an impostor.
“Going by the security challenges faced by the state it is not proper to allow the Majigiri faction of the PDP to compound it’s problems through unnecessary decisive crisis”, he said.
Saude also called on the security agencies in the state to urgently arrest any person parading himself as PDP executives in the state, stressing that, a court judgment had put paid to the existence of such in the state.
