Katsina Board of Internal Revenue gets new Chairman, CEO
A New Chairman and Chief Executive Officer has been appointed for Board of Internal Revenue in Katsina state.
He is Alhaji Mustapha Muhammad Sirajo.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in charge of Administration in the office of Head of Civil Service Alhaji Usman Isyaku Dutsinma explained that the appointment followed the recent advertisement of the post of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Board and the subsequent recommendations of the interview panel constituted by the state government for the conduct of the assignment.
According to the statement, the appointment of Mustapha Muhammad Sirajo to head the Board of internal Revenue is with effect of 1st January, 2021.
The Statement explained that the appointment of Mustapha Muhammad Sirajo also followed his excellent performance at the rigorous interview conducted for all the applicants.
Moreover, the statement further said Mustapha Muhammad Sirajo at current place of work at Federal Inland Revenue Service-FIRS has established a track record of service, professionalism and outstanding performance in revenue collection.
Until the appointment, the statement explained that Mustapha Muhammad Sirajo is a Senior Manager with the Federal Inland Revenue Service-FIRS, Abuja.
In a related development, Governor Aminu Bello Masari has approved the appointment of Aminu Darabati Abdulmummuni as the Director General of the state Bureau of Statistics.
A Statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in charge of Administration in the office of Head of Civil Service Alhaji Usman Isyaku Dutsinma explained that until the appointment, Aminu is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Katsina state Board of Internal Revenue.
The Statement explained that the appointment is also from the 1st January, 2021.
