NGO honored Hajiya Farida Barau, Nura Khalil for philanthropic activities in Katsina
An Entrepreneurship group, 21 Century Entrepreneur hub in Katsina State has honored Hajiya Farida Barau and her husband, Alhaji Nura Khalil for their philanthropic activities across the state.
The hub presented the awards to the recipients on Sunday during their annual lecture event to mark the World Entrepreneurs week at Abba Saude House in Katsina.
During the event, President of the hub, Malam Usman Abubakar Rimi said they decided to bestowed the honor to the recipients due to their uncommon passion towards helping the needy and the less privileged including Internally Displaced Persons and, entrepreneurs students.
Malam Usman also mentioned that recently, the Nura Khalil Foundation’s sponsored the training of over 200 youths on various entrepreneurship skills.
On their part, the recipients of the awards, Hajiya Farida Barau and her husband, Alhaji Nura Khalil represented by Abubakar Abdulrahman Funtua thanked the hub and promised to continue to do more adding that more youths will be sponsored by the foundation on entrepreneurship soon.
Nura Khalil is really trying most especially for the used and dumped Funtua zone.
