Customs open fire on suspected smugglers in Katsina
Some customs officers riding motorcycles have reportedly opened fire on suspected smugglers carrying foreign cooking oil in Katsina metropolis according to an online newspaper, Taskar Labarai.
According to our sources, the suspected smugglers simply identified as Aƙilu Dushe and his boy were coming from an outskirt village called Daga when they were shot.
Katsina Post further said that eyewitnesses said the custom officers succeeded in wounding the suspected smugglers and spoilt their vehicle.
The victims were later rushed to the General Amadi Rimi Specialist Hospital popularly known as Orthopedic Hospital for treatment.
