Katsina PDP holds major stakeholders meeting, lament state insecurity 

The members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Katsina State chapter held a high level major stakeholders meeting in Abuja, Katsina Post learned.

The meeting took place in Maitama District, Abuja on sunday, 8th November and was chaired by the Former Executive Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency Barr. (DR) Ibrahim Shehu Shema CON, FNIM.

The major objective of the meeting was to enhance party cohesion among major stakeholders and to extend same to other party members to ensure strengthening of the party for the major challenges ahead.

Other important issues discussed were, challenges of insecurity in the State, poverty and lack of provision of adequate social services to cater for the need of the people of the state.

The stakeholders were seriously concerned and emphatic on the level on insecurity in the state.

They therefore extended their symphathy to all those affected by this insecurity and offered prayers for succour from God to bring an end to this suffering.

The meeting also Prayed Allah SWT to grant Jannatul Firdous to all those that lost their lives, and prayed for quick recovery to the wounded and injured victims both at home and those in the hospitals and for those that lost their property and other material resources, the meeting Prayed to God to give them adequate compensation.

The local governments that were seriously affected by the insecurity are Sabuwa, Dandume, Faskari, Kankara, Danmusa, Safana, Kurfi, Batsari, Jibia, Dutsinma, Matazu and other local government areas in the state.

Finally, the meeting commended the steadfastness and commitment of party members towards repositioning of the party for greater victory ahead.

The meeting therefore enjoined party members in the state to be more united and resolute for greater challenges ahead.

Those in attendance were: Dr. Ibrahim Shehu Shema, Sen Umar Ibrahim Tsauri, Hon. Ach Musa Sada, Hon Tukur Mani, Sen M T Liman, Sani Bala Saulawa, Hon Salisu Yusuf Majigiri, Lamis Shehu Dikko, Senator Yakubu Lado, Arc Ahmad Aminu Yar’adua and Abba Sayyadi Ruma among others.

Others are Hon Shehu Inuwa Imam, Alhaji Labo Tarka, Hon Garba Shehu Matazu, Hon Hamisu Gambo, Prof Rabi’u Kurfi, Hon Ibrahim Tukur, Labiru Musa, Maiwada Daudawa, Rabi’u Gambo, Lawal Usman Funtua, Sani Abu Minister, Hon Jamilu Mamman Danmusa, Hon Aliyu A Abdullahi, Hon Ali Haro Jani, Hon Ibrahim Lawal Dankaba, Barr Yazid Funtua, Abubakar Yusuf Bindawa, Abdu Halliru, Musa Lawal, Sada Inde and Sa’idu Danjarida Zango.
