NIRSAL Loan: Sadauki Foundation sponsors free entrepreneurship training for 1000 individuals in Katsina

Sadauki Foundation on Monday, sponsored free Entrepreneurship Development Training for 1000 individuals in the state to enable them to have access to NIRSAL Agric, Small, and Medium Enterprise Scheme (AGSMEIS) with 0% interest.

Katsina Post reports learned the prospective trainees would be issued with an entrepreneurship-training certificate as eligibility to access up to N10 Million AGSMEIS loan, an initiative from Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) – without collateral.

The participants cut across all 34 Local Governments which during the training would be allowed to choose any skill of their choice in Poultry, Goat Rearing, Furniture making, Tailoring, Farming among other Agri and non-Agri Businesses.

While speaking on the development, the founder Sadauki Foundation, Jamil Ahmad Sadauki said the initiative was part of his contributions to the economic and capacity development of people; supporting access to a soft loan for the beneficiaries who could not afford to pay N35, 000 fee to Entrepreneurship Training Institutions to acquire the training certificate as a prerequisite for the NIRSAL AGSMEIS Loan.

Sadauki however enjoined the beneficiaries to make the best use of this opportunity, while also reminding them, the certificate gets them along any other government floated financial benefits.

The processing form

Muhsin Gambo Lawal revealed to our correspondent that the registration forms is currently being distributed across all wards in Dutsin-ma and Kurfi Local Government Areas as the training is set to begin on Thursday while the venue will be communicated soon.

Katsina Post had earlier reports that Sadauki Foundation has opened a free center in Dutsin-ma for the registration of the MSME Survival Fund Programme and other social intervention programmes.

The center will offer free registration for all companies, businesses, private schools, Islamiyya schools, and corporate businesses that acquire CAC certificates in Dutsinma/Kurfi Federal Constituency.

Katsina Post reports that the objective of the Federal Government’s MSME survival Fund program is to help with the digital registration, onboarding, and management of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

The program includes Payroll Support, Guaranteed Offtake and MSME Grant. The CRM & MIS Platform will also enable the inventory management of the Guaranteed Offtake Scheme.
