Breaking: FUDMA VC Directs Full Opening Of School On Monday 

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Armayau Hamisu Bichi has directed all categories of staff of the University to resume duty on Monday, 28th September, 2020 accordingly and unfailingly.

The Directorate of Public Relations and Protocol reports that the Vice Chancellor revealed the directive fallowing an instruction by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for Vice Chancellors of Universities to reopen their respective institutions due to the significance decline of number of people infected with COVID-19 in Nigeria.

The Vice Chancellor directed that all staff must ensure full compliance with the safety protocols enshrined by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) guidelines which are very much in force.

“All staff are to also ensure strict compliance with other extant NUC quality assurance standards and guidelines, the VC emphasized.

It could be recalled that, FUDMA and other institutions of learning in the country were on Monday 23rd March 2020 directed by the NUC to immediately close both academic and administrative activities sequel to the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

In a related development, the University Management has also released time table for the 2019/2020 staff Promotion Exercise.

This is contained in a statement signed by Ofem Usani Etang for the University Registrar, Allyu Dalha Kankia and made available to the Directorate of Public Relations and Protocol.
