Katsina gov’t begins refund of money to 2020 intending pilgrims
Katsina state pilgrims welfare board has commenced the refunding the 2020 Hajj deposits to intending pilgrims who apply for their money.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony in two zonal pilgrims officer which consist of Funtua and Malumfashi zones the Executive Director of the board Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki said governor Aminu Bello Masari approved the payment as Directed by the National Hajj commission of Nigeria.
He said the payment is being made to those intending pilgrims who deposited for the 2020 Hajj and apply seeking for their refunds.
Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki urged those intending pilgrims who decided to keep their money against 2021 Hajj Exercise as roll-over to visits their respective zonal pilgrim offices to fill an agreement form provided by the board.
Earlier speaking the chairman screening committee who is also the Director finance of the board Alhaji Usman Dalhatu urged the intending pilgrims who requested for their money to ensure that they come along with the receipt of their deposits for proper documentation.
Some of the intending pilgrims who seek for their funds who spoke at the presentation ceremony expressed appreciation for the board for fulfilling their promise by refunding them their money.
