Armed bandits invade 2 Katsina towns, abduct 6 in fresh separate attacks
Suspected bandits in their numbers and armed with sophisticated weapons have reportedly attacked Dan-musa and Daudawa towns of Danmusa and Faskari Local Government Areas of Katsina State responsibility in the early hours of Thursday, Katsina Post learned.
In Daudawa, the bandits reportedly kidnapped four (4) people including two women and two men.
Similarly, the bandits invaded Danmusa town shooting sporadically in the air and kidnapped the wife of one Igbo trader simply called Prince and one other person called Salisu all of Danmusa town.
But report gathered by Katsina Post has it that the Nigerian troops stationed at Marar Zanfarawa, a town not too far from Danmusa engaged the bandits and chased them away.
Information regarding the abducted victims is still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
