Mahdi VS Katsina gov’t: IPAC set up c’ttee to reconcile waring party’s
Inter-party Advisory Council, IPAC, Katsina State chapter have delved into the escalating sour relationship between the Katsina State government and Katsina-born business mogul, Alhaji Mahdi Shehu over allegations of financial misappropriations to the tune of N52.6bn labeled against the former by the later.
To that regard, the council sent letters to both the waring parties asking them to submit their evidence related documents for ‘thorough scrutiny’ within 48hrs.
This was disclosed to newsmen in Katsina by the leadership and members of the IPAC led by their Chairman, Ibrahim Tukur Saude.
According to him, IPAC, reviewed Mahdi Shehu’s case against Katsina State Government and resolved among other things, to play ‘neutral game’ to resolve the situation.
IPAC in Katsina is the overall umbrella representing all the sixteen political parties with operational license in the state.
