Ministry expels secondary school students “Indefinitely” for beating-up their teacher in Katsina

The Katsina state ministry of education has announced the expulsion of two students of Saldefi International Secondary school Katsina for their involvement in physically assaulting their classroom teacher. Katsina Post learnt 

Recalled that two sudents were recorded in a video that went viral while engaging in physical fight with their teacher in the school premises which the clear case of sheer indiscipline was condemned by many across social media.

According to a statement by the state ministry of Education the expelled students are Usman Aliyu and Abdulrahman Dankaka of SS2, and thereby to denied admission into any school across the state.

The statement also announced that other students involved; Abdulaziz Abubakar and Aliyu Hamza Hajj who were responsible for recording the viideo are to be suspended indefinitely from the school noting that the suspended student will be allowed to write their final examinations but should have their result withheld by the school for two years.

The ministry however directed all schools across the state to take appropriate measures in installing and maintaining discipline in their school.
