Residents protest rising insecurity in ‘Yantumaki, Dan-musa, burnt tyres, APC billboards
Armed bandits reportedly launched fresh multiple attacks on Yantumaki community in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State in the early morning hours of Tuesday around 1:00am.
During the attack which lasted for hours, the bandits reportedly broke in to many houses in the town carting away several valuables and food stuffs.
The bandits also broke into the house of one Alhaji Mansir Yusuf who happened to be a neighbor to the Late district head of Yantumaki who was killed and kidnapped him along with his his daughter.
In the morning, angry residents comprising men and women of the town however stormed the streets in protest to the recent happenings.
The protesters who are in the numbers were also seen burning tyres and campaign billboards of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the town.
