FUDMA crisis: Prof Bichi calls for calm, says university yet to get court order
The Federal University, Dutsin-ma FUDMA, has said that it has not been served with any court order circulating on the social media issued by the National Industrial Court of Nigeria halting the appointment of Professor Armayau Hamisu Bichi as the substantive Vice Chancellor.
This is contained in a statement signed by the university’s Acting Director, Public Relations and Protocol, Habibu Garba Matazu.
In the statement, the university’s management also called for calm and expressed readiness to appeal the judgment if it turned out to true and if they were served.
Recall that the National Industrial Court of Nigeria has reportedly issued an order restraining the appointment of Professor Armayau Hamisu Bichi as the substantive Vice Chancellor of FUDMA.
The court also fixed 17th June for the hearing of the case before it.
