Just In: Gov Masari sworn in 4 judges in Katsina
Governor Aminu Bello Masari has sworn in two new high court judges and two new Qadis of Sharia court of Appeal.
The two new high court judges are Barrister Safiya Badamasi Umar-SAN and Barrister Ashiru Sani.
Similarly, the two new Qadis are Mohammed Makiyyu Adam and Adam salihu Yarima.
Shortly after administering the oath of office and that of allegiance, Governor Aminu Bello Masari urged the new appointees to consider new positions as a call to duty that requires more dedication, professionalism and above all the fear of Allah.
He reminded the new appointees that the primary objective of every legal is to deliver Justice, which is the main pillar of ensuring peace and good governance.
Alhaji Aminu Masari observed that the Justice delivery system nowadays has been facing challenges that includes delay in the dispensation of cases.
He therefore opined that a reform in the judicial system had become imperative to ensure effective Justice delivery in the state.
