Katsina State to get 100-beds isolation center for COVID-19 patients
The Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) is planning to build a 100-beds isolation for COVID-19 patients in Katsina State.
This was disclosed by the Katsina State Commissioner for Health, Engr Nuhu Yakubu Danja on Monday during a meeting.
According to him, the NNPC has contacted the state government over their intention to provide the isolation center last week.
Engr. Yakubu Nuhu further stated that the state task force committee on the COVID-19 has already identified the state National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp for the purpose.
He also said that another isolation facility at Tashar Bala in Batagarawa Local Government Area was also identified by the task force committee as a second option in case the NYSC camp was not use.
