Dahiru Mangal Foundation offers free medical treatment to over 100 less privileges in three months- Report

In keeping to its mandate of helping the vulnerable, no fewer than 100 patient benefitted with free surgeries and medical treatment sponsored by Dahiru Bara’u Mangal in the first-quarter of 2020.

Given the account of the foundation activities, Malam Hussaini Kabir who is a member board of trustee revealed that the foundation and its medical activities are fully sponsored by the Chairman of the Foundation, Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal.

Hussaini revealed that the beneficiaries were treated in various hospitals in the state and beyond.

According to him, 78 people with Hernia and Hydrocephalus cases, 18 Urology patients have so far received free medical treatment and surgeries at General Hospital Katsina courtesy of the foundation.

“We have 78 patients with Hernia and Hydrocephalus and 18 Urology patients are currently receiving treatment at General Hospital Katsina.”

Hussaini also noted that “The foundation had also offered free medical treatment and surgeries to 3 patients currently admitted to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, 1 patient at Zango Orthopedic Katsina, and 1 other patient at National Hospital Abuja.”

He added that the Foundation has in this quarter broadened its activities to Graves yard rehabilitation starting with five situated in the state capital.

“The foundation has for the first time introduced Grave Yards rehabilitation. And we have selected five prominent ones to start within the first-quarter”.

According to him, the foundation will supply all the necessary materials needed for grave making in the yards including Water source, Mud Pots, Shovels, and Diggers amongst others.

One beneficiary, Abdullahi Lawal, a patient suffering from Osteomyelitis who received free surgery at Zango Orthopedic Katsina thanks the Foundation for saving his life.

Recalled that in 2019 over 2000 vulnerable people in the state have so far benefited from the foundation’s humanitarian activities.
