Just In: Katsina gov’t to embark on massive recruitment
Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State has expressed the readiness of the state government to embark on employment to replace retirees in the state civil service.
Masari gave the assurance when he received the state organized labour union led by the state NLC chairman, Comrade Hussaini Hamisu, in his office.
According to the governor, the issue of retirement is a critical issue that needs to be addressed.
He revealed that from the inception of the state government in 2015 to date over 500 civil servant had been sponsored on training and retraining to enhance service delivery.
Comrade Tanimu Lawal Saulawa, the special adviser on Labour and Productivity, in a remark, stated that the state was among states that implemented the payment of the new minimum wage without any hitch.
