Katsina teachers training aimed at equipping state teachers to meet global best practices
The President of the Pleasant Library and Book Club (PLBC), Engr. Muttaqha Rabe Darma said the current training for teachers in Katsina State being carried out by PLBC and sponsored by the Katsina State Government is to repositioned the state teachers to meet global best practices.
Engr. Muttaqha stated this when he visited the two centers currently hosting the teachers’ training in Musawa and Malumfashi Local Governments of Katsina State.
He said that the training is aimed at reforming and equipping the Katsina State teachers with the current trend of knowledge for effective service delivery.
According to him, it is with that in mind that they introduced the Teacher Digital Application which was developed for the 32,000 Katsina State Public Schools Teachers and Aminu Bello Masari (ABM) online library to address the shortage or lack of books and other instructional materials.
Engr. Muttaqha also said that the training is expected to reignite the passion for the state’s teachers and pushed them to attain their best for the overall betterment of the state.
In their separate remarks, Asabe Mati and Ahmad Ado; teachers from GDSSS ‘Yar Laraba and Tunau Primary School, Malumfashi all commended the state government and the organizers of the training and also promised to put to use whatever they learned during the training.
