Congress: Katsina PDP leadership, aggrieved members resolve issues, says party sailing to victory in 2023

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State and all aggrieved members has finally found a common ground and resolved all issues regarding the upcoming congresses of the party in the State, Katsina Post can authoritatively report.

The aggrieved members, according to Katsina Post’s findings, were at the state party office today to purchase their forms, show solidarity to the party’s leadership and apologize for their initial misunderstanding of the whole process.

The leadership of the party also disowned the purported ‘letter of attestation’ circulating and said it was not used by any person as a prerequisite for obtaining nomination form.

While speaking on the issue, the party Chairman, Honorable Salisu Yusuf Majigiri called for unity among all party members as they sail towards the 2023 general elections saying that the party is ready more than ever to dislodge APC.

Hon Majigiri also assured all PDP faithful of their party’s adherence to tenants of democracy.

Earlier, the State party’s Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Salisu Uli debunked rumors making rounds that he left his office and refused to sell the forms to aspirants saying that it was mere propaganda and that he was away for other official engagements.

Some of the aggrieved members who spoke with Katsina Post also showered praises on the party leaders under the leadership of Hon Salisu Yusuf Majigiri and promised their continues loyalty.

Alhaji Ibrahim Rogo, an aspirant for the position of Local Government Party Chairman, who threatened to drag the party to court also withdrew his threat and bought his nomination form for national delegate from Daura LGA.
