NDLEA intercepts truck with bags of Indian hemp, arrest 2 suspects in Katsina
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Katsina State Command has intercepted a truck with 152kgs of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, Katsina Post learned.
This is contained in a statement by the command’s public relations officer, Mustapha Maikudi on Thursday.
According to him, the suspected weed, also known as cannabis sativa was intercepted on the 25th of February, 2020.
Also, two persons were arrested by the command in connection with the crime.
The case is still under investigation for further prosecution, he added.
The Katsina State NDLEA command is being headed by Commander Momodu Sule fsi.
