Breaking: Katsina United gets partial lift on ban to admit fans into stadium
Following series of meetings with the LMC by the management of Katsina United, the LMC has granted Katsina United FC partial permission to admit fans into the Stadium with effect from NPFL Matchday 21: Katsina United vs Abia Warriors.
This is contained in a a letter addressed to the Chairman of Katsina United FC signed by the COO LMC Ltd, Salihu Abubakar dated the 21st of February and seen by Katsina Post.
The statement reads “Please refer to our summary jurisdiction notice of 23rd January 2020 and the meeting held yesterday with you and Kano Pillars officials in our offices: having been satisfied with your submissions on steps taken so far to provide effective security and control measures in your stadium, we hereby give you partial permission to admit fans into your stadium for home matches of Katsina United with effect from match day 21- Katsina United vs Abia Warriors FC on sunday 23rd February 2020.
“This allows you to admit fans into the Grand stand of the stadium only.
“For clarification purposes, you are NOT to have fans in the popular side. This will be monitored and reported to us by the match officials and LMC delegates at the match Kindly ensure compliance.”
