Katsina lawmaker repairs 30 handpump boreholes for constituents
The Honorable member representing Daura constituency in Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura has embarked on yet another project of repairing boreholes for constituents.
Katsina Post learned that the Katsina lawmaker has begun the repairing of no fewer than 30 handpump boreholes across the 12 political wards of the constituency.
The Hon. member during the flag-off of the project on Monday, said it is in line with his firm belief that each and every person he is representing enjoys clean and healthy water for drinking and other human needs.
“I believe every member of my constituency should not use unclean and unhealthy water inline World Health Organization. It is in this regard that I want to do my best to see that happening and it is because of that that I am beginning with 30 handpump boreholes with many more coming,” he said.
Recall also that the Honorable member had earlier executed many projects in his constituency in recent times ranging from distribution of free drugs and other consumables to sickle-cell patients and pregnant women to many educational projects.
