Indian firm builds 800 hectares Green Industrial Park in Katsina 

Governor Aminu Bello Masari has inspected an ongoing Green Industrial Park being constructed along Jibiya road in Katsina.

The construction work being supervised by Katsina state Investment Promotion Agency-KIPA is being executed by an Indian firm.

Conducting the Governor round the project, the Group president of the firm, Mr Jitender Sachdeva, the project Manager, Mr Davi Sankar and the commercial Manager, Mr Sandeep Kumar told Governor Aminu Masari that the work had been progressing steadily on the 800 hectres provided by Katsina state government.

They revealed that the project would provide a Green Economic Zone for the construction of various factories by investors in the Park.

Out of the 800 hectres, the Group president explained that only 100 hectres is now being provided with basic infrastructures that would support establishment of factories.

Mr Jitender Sachdeva announced that a 4.7 kilometers road is being constructed while work on solar light station would soon start at the site.

He said other structures that would support the springing up of factories would be provided at the site of the Green Economic Zone.

Mr Jitender Sachdeva also stated that work on the Gatehouse would soon start while birbed wire fencing had reached 2.5 kilometers on the backside of the project.

He revealed that circular pipes through putting of concrete in the pipes was adopted to instilled the fence.

Mr Jitender Sachdeva assured that his firm would spread as much as possible and as the budget could provide.

Governor Aminu Bello Masari expressed satisfaction with the extent of the work at the site of the project.

Alhaji Aminu Masari was accompanied by the state commissioner of water Resources, Alhaji Musa Adamu Funtua, the special Adviser to the Governor on intergovernmental Affairs Alhaji Bashir Dayyabu safana and some aides of the Governor.
