Reps begin legislative work on bill for establishment of Federal University Funtua
Last week, the House of Representatives at it’s plenary read the Bill for an Act to Establish a Federal University of Agriculture and Technology Funtua.
This is in continuation of the process of concorance with the Senate as the Bill has already been passed by the Senate.
Recall that the bill for the Establishment of the University passed third reading on the floor of the Senate in December last year.
The passage of the bill followed the consideration of the report of the Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND on the University presented before it by the committee Chairman, Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita on Wednesday during the plenary.
