Ganduje to receive Katsina man trekking to Kano for his Supreme Court victory 

The Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has expressed joy over the effort a 33-year old man identified as Nura Aliyu Batsari to celebrate with him over his victory at the Supreme Court.

In a statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Salihu Tanko Yakasai said ” this young man has deserve commendation he has shown his support to my quest to transport the state”.

He called on his supporters to pray for him a hitch free trek from the ancient city of Katsina to Kano.

Ganduje added that rowzy welcome and reception will be organised by the state government in his honor.

Recalled that Nura Aliyu Batsari, an indigene of Batsari Local Government commenced trekking from Katsina to Kano state, a distance of about 172km and by road, to celebrate the election victory of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje at the supreme court of Nigeria and his achievements.

Nura told newsmen shortly before he left Katsina to Kano that he vowed to trek to Kano if the Supreme Court of Nigeria affirms Governor Ganjuje’s Election victory.

According to him, “I made a promise and a vow that if Governor Ganduje won at the Supreme Court, I would trek from Katsina to Kano to congratulate him. I am doing it for my support of the Governor and his unprecedented achievements.

Nura, who only carried a small bag, also said when he finally reached Kano, he would be glad if he could see Governor Ganduje deliver his congratulation letter.
