We’ll ensure the completion, take off of Funtua Dry Port – Gov Masari
Governor Aminu Bello Masari has expressed the resolve of the APC administration to ensure completion and take off of Funtua Dry Port.
In a message to a meeting held at the site of the project in Funtua, Governor Aminu Masari explained that the completion of the Dry Port would help the state government to reduce the army of unemployed youths not only in Funtua but the state and the country at large.
The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner of commerce, trade and I tourism, Alhaji Muntari Kado expressed joy that stakeholders have shown commitment to the take off of the Dry Port in Funtua.
In a remark, the Director in charge of the North West of the Nigerian Shippers council spoke at length on what the Funtua terminal of the Dry Port is expected to be after its completion.
The meeting in Funtua was also attended by the representative of the concessionaire in the Ecomarine oil and Gas Ltd, the representative of the Nigeria Railway corporation, the Acting permanent secretary in the state ministry of commerce, the Director of special projects in the state ministry of commerce, and other officers from the Nigerian Shippers council.
The representative of the Governor and commerce, Alhaji Muntari Kado is expected to visit the kaduna terminal of the Dry Port for the take off of that of Funtua.
