The Katsina State PilgrimWelfare Board has urged the intending pilgrims for the year 2020 to make an initial deposit of N300,000 and above.
This was made known by the Acting Executive Director of the Board Alhaji Dalhatu Usman.
According to him, intending pilgrims are required to deposit the sum of N300,000 up to N1.5m, pending the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria’s final announcement of charge.
”Intended pilgrims are expected to make their deposit between November 2019 to March 2020” He added.
Mr. Dalhatu also declared that intending pilgrims are required to deposit money in either of the board’s designated seven zonal offices that include Dutsin-ma, Kankia, Mani, Daura, Malumfashi, Funtua, and Katsina.
Similarly, intending pilgrims are expected to go with their E-passport, Indigene letter, National Identification Card, and declaration of age to the office.
The Board also urged the intending pilgrims to be cautious and make sure they transact only with the officials so as to avoid fraudulent activities.
Lastly the board also declared that it do not accept cash, alternately, bank draft with the management name is expected.
