Code of Conduct Bureau asks former Katsina LGAs caretaker-c’ttees to submit the end-of-office asset declaration
The Code of Conduct Bureau in Katsina has called on all the dissolved members of the Katsina State’s 34 Local Government Caretaker Committees to make their end-of-office declaration as stipulated by the law.
This is contained in a press statement signed by the State Director of the Bureau, Halima S. Mahuta and seen by Katsina Post.
According to the Statement, “the Bureau advised all concerned to kindly comply as any failure would be considered as a breach of the provisions of section 3(a-e) of the third schedule and provision of section 11 (I) of fifth schedule of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Statement also said that all the 34 Local Governments chairmen, their Secretaries, Councilors and Supervisory Councilors are advised to comply.
Recall that Katsina Post reported to you that Governor Aminu Bello Masari had ordered for the dissolution of the Local Governments Caretaker Committees.
