Katsina gov’t begins massive immunization against Maternal-Neonatal Tetanus
The Katsina State Primary Health Care Agency has flagged off massive campaign and Immunization against the deadly Maternal-Neonatal Tetanus in 14 Local governments of the state.
Katsina Post learned that the immunization against the Maternal-Neonatal Tetanus is among the non-polio supplemental activities began by the agency in August and expected to last till December 2019.
The immunization which started today Sunday 20th October 2019 is expected to run till 25th October 2019.
The Local Governments to be covered are Batsari, Baure, Bindawa, Charanchi, Ingawa, Kafur, Kaita, Kankara, Mai’adua, Mani, Mashi, Rimi, Sandamu and Zongo.
Also, people within the age group of 15 – 49 are expected to be immunized.
