Gov Masari provides land for Federal Fire service Training School in Kankia
Land has been provided by the Katsina State government under the leadership of Governor Aminu Bello Masari for the construction of the newly established Federal Fire Service Training School in Kankia Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Katsina Post learnt that the Governor presented the letter of Land allocation to the Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Liman Ibrahim Alhaji in his office on Monday.
The governor took to his official Twitter handle @GovernorMasari Monday night to announce the allocation of the land to the federal fire service.
He wrote: We have today fulfilled our pledge of allocating a piece of land for the establishment of the Federal Fire Service Training School for the Northwest zone at Kankia”.
The Senator Representing Daura zone, Senator Ahmed Babba Kaita had also took the Controller general to the site on a tour.
Recall that the controller general of the service had in September told newsmen that the federal government had approved the establishment of five federal fire service training schools in the country.
According to him, those to be created would be based in Katsina, Maiduguri, Calabar, Ilorin and Umuahia.
