IGR: Katsina State generate N4.81bn in 6 months
IGR: Katsina is 6th worst performing state in Nigeria in 6 months
Katsina State Government under the leadership of Governor Aminu Bello Masari has generated a whopping sum of N4.81bn as Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) from January to June (6 months) of this 2019.
This is according to recent data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) yesterday.
Katsina Post learned that despite these sums, Katsina State is the six worst-performing state in Nigeria in terms of the IGR just above Kebbi: N4.73bn, Borno: N3.92bn, Taraba: N3.27bn, Yobe: N2.21bn and Gombe: N2.09bn.
The top six states however are: Lagos: N205.16bn, Rivers: N75.97bn, FCT: N38.57bn, Delta: N36.39bn, Ogun: N29.58bn and Kaduna: N22.40bn.
Internally Generated Revenue is the revenue the government make from within its citizens and not from outside.
