Anti-party: Katsina APC threatens to suspend ‘Buhari’s kinsmen’ from the party
The leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Katsina State have dropped hint on the possibility of them taking disciplinary measures against some of the party members living in far-away Abuja over an allegation of anti-party was labelled against them.
This was disclosed to the public by Alhaji Bala Abubakar Musawa, the zonal party chairman in the state.
The party who alleged that the APC members residents in Abuja are the people that instigated the PDP to file a petition challenging the outcome of the 2019 gubernatorial elections in the state.
The so-called ‘Abuja politicians’ according to Katsina Post checks revealed that they are close to President Muhammadu Buhari and maybe getting his support.
Among them are the Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika; the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Hadiza Bala Usman and the Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa.
Others, who may also be sanctioned by the ruling party include President Muhammadu Buhari’s long-time friend, Sama’ila Isa Funtua and Sani Zangon Daura. Mamman Daura and Buhari’s nephews Musa Haro and Hon. Fatuhu Muhammad, member representing Daura/Mai’adua/Sandamu.
