Tribunal: Atiku is still the winner in the hearts of Nigerians – Muttaqha Rabe
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and philanthropist in Katsina State, Engr. Muttaqha Rabe has faulted the judgment passed by the Presidential election tribunal which dismissed the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 election.
Engr. Muttaqha made this assertion in an interview with the press shortly after the judgment on Wednesday.
According to him, Atiku Abubakar won the election but was robbed, he further went to the tribunal and proved his case beyond reasonable doubt but unfortunately, all the judges believed otherwise.
“My expectation was for Atiku to be declared the winner by the election tribunal or at least for each and every judge of the tribunal to state that there were flaws in the election but because of some reasons, they still believed the election should go the way of the President.
“With that, everybody will know that Atiku won, but unfortunately all the judges said Atiku had no case and dismissed,” he said.
But the former PTDF boss said that he believes that Atiku is still the winner in the hearts of Nigerians and is a hero of democracy.
