Meet Bello Sambo from Katsina; first Nigerian with PhD in Railway Research
Meet Bello Sambo; The man from Katsina who is the first Nigerian to hold a Railway Research PhD.
As a first class scholar of Electrical Engineering he was so good that Huddersfield had to retain him for global projects.
He is the brain behind Newark WR Study Processing and Stimulating Design.
Recently in an interview with Daily Trust, Dr. Sambo said he started secondary schooling at Zamani College where he got initial grounding for the sciences and graduated in 2007 with an outstanding WAEC result.
He then proceeded to the Eastern Mediterranean University in Northern Cyprus where he studied BSc Electrical Electronics and graduated with First Class.
There after, he served the NYSC as a site engineer at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
However, in 2013 – 2014, he went for further education to read Masters in Engineering Control Systems and Instrumentation at The University of Huddersfield, U.K, and PhD at the same university 2014 – 2019.
He also started work with The Institute of Railway Research (IRR) of the University of Huddersfield as from 2018 to date.
