Gwagware foundation donate bags of grains, drugs to IDPs in Batsari, Katsina
The Chairman Board of Trustees Gwagware Foundation, Dr Dikko Umar Radda along side the foundation patrons, excos and its coordinator, Batsari Local Government visited Batsari Local Government of Katsina State to sympathise with the victims affected by arm bandits, kidnapping and cattle rustling.
The visit was made on the 7th September 2019.
Gwagwaren Katsina started the visit by paying a homage to the district head palace where he expresses his concern on the state of security.
He offered prayers for a lasting peace in the land and thereafter proceeded to the victims’ camp.
He commensurated with the victims and called on them to submit their total will to Allah SWA and assured them that the Government under the leadership of Rt Hon. Aminu Bello Masari is doing all humanely possible within the ambit of the law to put an end to this deadly menace.
Dr Dikko Umar Radda under Gwagware Foundation distributed 100 bags of food items comprising of beans, maize, millet and hundreds of malaria drugs and paracetamol to the victims affected by the menace.
Subsequently, Gwagware Foundation will visit other 7 local governments that were affected by the insurgency to distribute food items and relief materials in the coming weeks.
Dr. Radda encouraged and exemplified the virtue of good citizenship, noting that by giving a bit particularly to those who are vulnerable or less privileged, alot could be changed.
He further called on the communities to intensify prayers and shun bad deeds as that is an avenue through which calamities can be minimized and continue to pray as Allah SWA has promised to answer sincere prayers of His servants.
Helping the less privileged and giving back to society is the core value of Gwagware Foundation.
