NNPC donate 5 brand new Laboratories worth N97m to Secondary School in Katsina
His Excellency the Governor of Katsina State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari has applauded the efforts of NNPC/Total upstream Nigeria limited for discharging their corporate social responsibilities for improving Education sector in the State.

The Governor was speaking during the handing over/taking over of the newly constructed five laboratories for Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Home Economics and Agricultural Science.
The solid edifice with the state of the art facilities worth over N97 million was generous donated to Government Day Secondary School Dutsin-Safe.
Other facilities provided by the Company to the School include a borehole and over head Tank.
The Governor was represented at the ceremony which took place at Shehu Yar’adua Center, Abuja by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Hajiya Halima Lawal Othman.
The Governor reaffirmed the conviction, resolve and commitment of Katsina State Government in according the Education Sector in the State the highest priority.
He assured the Company of the State Government’s continued cooperation towards moving Education Sector in the State forward as well as judicious utilization of the laboratories to add value to the Education of the teeming Students of the State.
Earlier, the Deputy Managing Director Deeper Water District, Total E & P Nigeria limited Dr. Engr. Ahmad Kida Musa said, the gesture extended to the School was part of their Company’s corporate social responsibility in the area of Education for nation building.
High light of the occasion was the cutting of tape to officially hand/take over the edifice.
The officials that accompanied the Permanent Secretary at the occasion were the Director Science Technical and Vocational Education, Alh. Isah Sani, Director Works, Alh. Nakano Idris and the Principal of the benefiting School, Alh. Sani Lawal KK.
