Katsina gov’t plans to get N9.3bn foreign loan to finance 2019 budget
The Katsina State Government under the leadership of Governor Aminu Bello Masari is planning to secure a foreign loan of no less than N9,336,703,905bn to finance its 2019 budget.
This is contained in the approved 2019 Katsina State budget document published by the state government on http://www.katsinastate.gov.ng/2019-budget/ and seen by Katsina Post.
According to the document, the foreign loan will be utilized by the state government in the execution of some viable and valuable capital projects in the state.
N1,528,249,600 was budgeted for the Special Baby Care Unit, Emergency Pediatric Unit, Infectious disease Hospital, and Laboratory.
N3,899,299,240 was budgeted for the Renovation of Primary Health Centres from the Islamic Development Bank.
Katsina Eye Centre with also be upgraded by N1,192,846,315 from the Islamic Development Bank.
Development and Construction of Katsina State Teaching Hospital will also gulp N2,716,308,750.
