Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has approved the appointment of 26 heads of government agencies include executive Secretaries, directors general and managing directors.
A statement issued by Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ganduje, Abba Anwar, said the new appointment takes immediate effect.
Katsina Post learned that among those appointed is Sheikh Haroun Ibn Sina as the Commander General Hisbah Board. Further checks by Katsina Post revealed to us that he is an indigen of Katsina but reside in Kano.
Recall that in May, the then Director-General of Kano State Hisba Board, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, the Chairman of Kano State Pilgrims Board, Malam Abba Koki, the Permanent Commissioner I at Kano State Shariah Commission, Abubakar Kandahar and Permanent Commissioner II at Zakkah and Hubsi Commission, Nazifi Inuwa, have resigned from their respective positions.
The four Islamic scholars submitted their resignation letters to the Secretary to the State Government yesterday through one Malam Umar Muhammad Tukur.
