The Katsina Emirate Council has suspended two districts heads for acts of “disobedience”. The secretary of the council and Sallama Katsina, Bello Ifo, disclosed this to Daily Trust.
The suspended districts heads are the Durbin Katsina who is also the district head of Jikamshi, Alhaji Aminu Kabir Usman and the Sarkin Sullubawan Katsina, district head of Kaita, Alhaji Abdulkarim Kabir Usman.
Ifo said already, a committee had been constituted to look into the acts of the “disobedience” that led to their suspension.
Recall that yesterday when we broke the news, reasons for their suspension was not immediately ready but unconfirmed sources said it is due to some in-house misunderstandings.
Katsina Post also learned that the two districts heads were suspended days ago but the emirate is yet to issue any statement to that regard.
The two suspended districts here are also siblings to the current Emir.
