Katsina Institute of Tech and Mang’t matriculate 195 new students
Katsina Institute of Technology and Management (KSITM) matriculated no fewer than 195 new students into various programmes offered in the Institute.
The ceremony was declared open by the chief executive officer of the Institute Dr. Babangida Albaba at the Institute permanent site. The event was graced by presence of Hon. commissioner of education, Katsina State, representing His Excellency Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, Chairman governing council, KSITM, representative of the special adviser, district head of Batagarawa L.G, chief executive officers of the sister Institutions within the state, and many other dignitaries from different sectors.
The Rector in his speech congratulated the matriculating students for their success in securing a placement into KSITM and highlighted some of the achievements of the graduated sets.
He appreciated the effort of the state government towards the development of ICT in the state through the huge investment made in establishing and running KSITM. He further reiterate that for a student to be worthy of KSITM certificate He/She has to be of good character and sound academically.
The chairman governing council in his address cautioned the matriculated students to be of good character and do well in their academic pursuit. He further stated some of achievements accomplished in establishing a smooth and conducive atmosphere for both the staff and students of KSITM.
The representative of the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Dr. Badamasi Lawal Charanchi extended the greetings of the Governor and his apology for not making it to the august event. He further noted the comments made during the events. He congratulated the matriculated students and wished them well in the journey they embark on.
Finally, the Registrar of the Institute thanked all the Invited guests that made it to the event from near and far and wished them a delightful journey back home.
