Famous Qur’anic reciter, 5 others kidnapped in Katsina
Malam Ahmad Sulaiman, the popular qur’anic reciter, and Islmaic scholar have been kidnapped in Katsina
The Kano based Qur’anic scholar was kidnapped yesterday’s night on his way to Katsina along Sheme to Kankara Local Government in the state.
It was learnt that Malam Ahmad abducted together with five companies who were reportedly coming back from Kebbi.
Recalled that Hajiya Hauwa Yusuf, the mother-in-law to Katsina state governor, Aminu Masari, has been reportedly kidnapped.
According to Daily Trust, she was kidnapped by armed men on masks at about 3am on Friday at her residence in Dandume crescent, Katsina layout of the metropolis.
It was learnt that other people who live in the house were thoroughly beaten just as their mobile telephones were carted away.
