I am going on political holiday – Tata
Former Katsina State gubernatorial aspirant in PDP and now chieftain in the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Tsauri, also called Tata has announced his temporary exit in the state’s politics by going on holiday.
This is contained in a congratulatory statement he made on his Facebook Timeline to the people of Katsia, Governor Aminu Bello Masari and his party, the APC for winning Saturday’s governorship election.
Below is what he wrote:
CONGRATULATIONS TO MY PEOPLE, CONGRATULATIONS TO MY GOVERNOR AND CONGRATULATIONS TO MY PARTY
I seek to use this medium to congratulate the good people of Katsina state for making the right decision in reelecting HE Aminu Bello Masari for another term of four years. This truly shows that in Katsina, we have politically come of age, where, inspite our touted level of illiteracy, we still could differentiate between a good person with humility and a bad person feigning wealth. Good, today has triumphed over the evil put forward by PDP. I wish HE Aminu Bello Masari a successful 4 year ride with Allah as his guide.
I equally want to felicitate with the 34 elected members of the State House of Assembly for earning our votes and our trust. I hope Allah will help and guide you all in discharging honourably the responsibility for which you were voted overwhelmingly.
I want to thank APC for giving me the habitat to give my little best inspite the crowded field and my people for standing with me to the end. I thank you most sincerely.
I want to use this medium to call on all those that supported me this far that what is before us now is to assist this government to succeed in whatever way we can not to start beating the drums of 2023. I am contented with the favours Allah has done to me without having to start another bout of politicking all over again. We deserve a good rest considering how far we came from PDP down to APC and to rest I am going on political holiday. I hope you too should!
Once more congratulations to all of us for succeeding! Long live Katsina state, long live the good people of Katsina state and long live APC.
