The National Association of Katsina State Students (NAKATSS) national President, Comrade Nasir Al-Mustapha Danye Jibia, has appealed to all students to re-elect Governor Aminu Bello Masari ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
Danye insisted that Masari is the most qualified candidate among those contesting the Gubernatorial seat noting that the governor had performed creditably in the short time he assumed office as Governor.
According to him, before Masari become Governor in 2015, Katsina was sinking. He added that his election revived the state and put it the path of glory.
Mr. Danye explained that Masari has also put Katsina on the path of socio-economic development, Improved education sector by building new schools, prompt payment of scholarship to both home and abroad students, equipping schools, school feeding programmes, youths empowerment amongst other development projects.
“All the development projects embarked on by Gov. Masari must not stop. We want him to continue rebuilding Katsina State.” He said
“Masari’s administration has been generous to students. His government is a government that accommodate all, irrespective of your tribe or religious affiliation.”
He however assured the governor of total commitments to his leadership toward the success of APC in the forthcoming election.
