The Katsina State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has signed into law the 2019 appropriation bill.
Speaking shortly after receiving the bill for assent from the speaker of the house of assembly, Alhaji Tasi’u Musa Zango, the Governor assured that effort would be made to complete some of the ongoing projects in the state.
Alhaji Aminu Masari however assured that projects that could not be completed would be rolled over in the next tenure if he wins his reelection election.
In a remark, the speaker, Alhaji Tasi’u Zango said after almost four months of painstaking scrutiny, the house of assembly had passed 202 billion naira appropriation bill for the Governor to assent.
He expressed gratitude to the Governor for the understanding with the lawmakers, which had cement cordial relationship between the two arms of government.
The house leader, Alhaji Hambali Faruk had earlier briefed the Governor on the process followed in passing the bill.
All the lawmakers, the secretary to Katsina state government, Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa and some members of the state executive Council witnessed the signing of the budget into law.
