The Katsina State House of Assembly has passed the state’s 2019 appropriation bill
Governor Aminu Masari had proposed N200.7bn budget, but the house increased it to N202.4bn.
Deputy Speaker of the house who presided over the sitting, Dalhatu Tafoki said the bill went through scrutiny from both within and outside saying that “since its submission, inputs were gotten from relevant stakeholders to make the budget a wholesome document.
According to him, the budget as passed will improve the wellbeing of the citizens.
He called on the executive to ensure smooth implementation of the budget.
Recall that, the Katsina state Governor, Aminu Masari submitted the state’s 2019 appropriation bill before the state house of assembly on Monday, 29th October 2018.
