The ongoing Gubernatorial campaigns has reached its climax with the conclusion of Daura senatorial zone this Wednesday.

The campaigns was rounded up in Baure and Zango local governments. While in Baure, Governor Aminu Bella Masari assured that if re elected, the APC administration would consolidate on the achievements so far made during the second tenure in office.

Alhaji Aminu Masari however emphasized the need for traditional and religious leaders to advocate for the emergence of good leadership through the ballot in the 2019 general elections.

He also spoke at length on the need for the traditional and religious leaders to sensitize people on the dangers of harboring criminals.

He requested for law enforcement agencies to be briefed on the whereabouts and presence of kidnappers and their informants to rid the society of bad elements.

Earlier, the Danburam of Daura, and District Head of Baure, Alhaji Muhammad Daha Umar revealed that the APC administration had rehabilitated Sandamu – Baure – Babban Mutum road, upgraded and rehabilitated Baure General hospital, Drainages, rehabilitated Babban Mutum comprehensive Health centre, rehabilitated several primary schools and constructed seven new primary schools among others.

Alhaji Muhammad Daha assured that traditional and religious leaders would continue to support government for more development projects to be executed in the domain.

Highlights of the campaigns was the receipt of decampees by the state chairman of the APC, Alhaji Shitu S. Shitu in the two local governments.

In a remark, the chairman of the campaign conuncil and secretary to Katsina state government, Dr Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa expressed gratitude to stakeholders who contributed towards the success of the Gubernatorial campaigns in the state.

In Zango, the campaign train’s first port of call was the palace of Murkan Daura and District Head of Zango, who requested for the rehabilitation of Rogogo – Zango -Daura road as well as completion of the township jumma’at mosque among others.

The District Head also requested for sustenance of assistance to farmers in the domain.

Responding Governor Masari assured that the problems enumerated by the District head would be confronted for solutions.

In all the places, Various Artists used to entertain the gatherings.
