BREAKING: Gunmen abduct foreign construction company worker in Katsina
A Lebanese, project Manager of Mother cat construction company in Katsina was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen at early hours of today.
An eye witness revealed to Katsina Post the Lebanese national was taken at gunpoint during a raid early hours of Thursday on the company’s base located near Fatima Shema Housing Estates.
The project manager identified as Mr. Maarun Justin according to eye witness was handcuffed by the marksmen before taken away in a white 406.
According to him, the gunmen shoots sporadically, ask everyone in the premises to laydown before whisking the foreigner.
“At around 7am in the Morrning four unidentified marksmen storm the company in a white 406 Peugeot kidnapped our foreign project Manager”.
“It appeared the foreigner was the target, because they target his movement while coming to the yard,” he said
Police source said all effort will be in place for the rescue of the victim as no death recorded during the operation at the time of compiling the report .
