2019: Masari rounded up Funtua zone campaign with lot of promises
The Gubernatorial campaigns in Funtua Zone has been rounded up with Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state in attendance.
Similarly, the Yobe state Gubernatorial candidate of APC, Mai Mala Bunu and the North West Zonal secretary of APC, Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir was at the venue of the campaigns as a mark of solidarity with Governor Aminu Bello Masari in his re election bid in the 2019 general elections.
Addressing the mammoth crowd at Government Day Secondary school kafur playground, Governor Aminu Masari expressed optimism that APC would emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections.
Alhaji Aminu Masari who was visibly elated with the massive turn out of people in his home local government said if given another mandate, he would do everything possible to make his people to become proud of his achievements in office.
Mid way into the campaigns, the national vice chairman of APC in the south west, chief Niyi Akande arrived in a helicopter and join the campaign train.
In Malumfashi, Governor Aminu Masari was also happy with the massive turn out of APC supporters.
The state chairman of APC, Alhaji Shitu S. Shitu received supporters of other political parties that decamped to APC in their thousands.
The former Deputy Governor, Alhaji Tukur Jikamshi, An elder, Alhaji Gide Sabuwar Kasa, the leader of the decampees, Alhaji Bature Masari, the two national officers of APC and the Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar all spoke at length on the need for APC supporter to turn out enmassed to vote candidates of the party in all elective positions.
Highlight of the campaigns was artistic presentation of APC songs to the admiration of people at the occasion.
The Governor took time off to pay homage to the palace of Dan Galadiman Katsina and District Head of Kafur, Alhaji Rabe Abdullahi in the presence of Danejin Katsina and Distinct Head of Mahuta, Alhaji Bello Abdulkadir while in Malumfashi, he was at the palace of Galadiman Katsina and District Head of Malumfashi, Justice Mamman Nasir.
The District Heads raised issues of concerns on security where Governor Aminu Masari assured that government is not resting on its oars to nib the problem in the bud.
