Just In: Al-Qalam University reacts to news of its 9 students abduction
The management of Al-Qalam University in Katsina has reacted to the news reported by many media outlets of the abduction of its 9 students.
The university has through its Public Relations Officer, Mallam Aqilu who issued a statement and served KATSINA POST with a copy, debunk the news saying that their security personnel are yet to verify the story.
“Yesterday, when the story went viral, the security department had contacted some relevant sources and yet no any information confirming the kidnap of this large number of our students along Kankara to Dutsinma road on Saturday, 5th January 2019 as reported in the social media.
“Similarly, there has not been any report received by the university from parents of any student in connection to the kidnap.” The statement says.
