Villagers lynched 3 suspected kidnappers to death in Katsina
Some Village residents have reportedly lynched to death no fewer than three suspected kidnappers in Dallawar Mahauta village, Dandume local government area of Katsina after a foiled kidnap attempt.
Katsina Post gathered that the kidnappers, numbering about 20, went to the village on motorcycles with the intention of kidnapping one businessman, Alhaji Abdurahman Dallawar Mahauta.
Narrating how it happened, an eye witnesses told our sources that the kidnappers who were shooting sporadically, could not locate the target and so they decided kidnap his son.
But as fate would have it, immediately after the shooting subsided, the villagers later mobilised and attacked the bandits killing three of them while one of the villagers identified as Yushau was also killed and two others injured.
The corpses of the kidnappers were later taken away by the police to Dandume divisional police Headquarters and later moved to Funtua.
When contacted the spokesman of the police command SP Gambo Isah said a statement will be issued on the matter.
